Broad Ripple Art & Design was started in 2006 with the intention of bringing together a professional group of artists and artisans who could work together to create opportunities. As our intention expanded, so did our outlook on what it means to be an artist. It's not just about making a painting, carving a statue, building a chair. It's about living creatively and, in that respect, we are all artists.

Our goal and dream at Broad Ripple Art & Design is to create great designs, art, interiors, and exteriors for our clients AND be a sustainable platform for our artists and artisans to feed themselves. We are unique in our industry. Most of the money generated from sales goes in the pocket of the artist, where it belongs.

Doug Arnholter, co-owner
Doug is the energy behind Broad Ripple Art & Design. He's the big picture guy, an outside the box kind of person who looks for creative answers for your environment. Doug can walk through your space and know exactly how much art you need and what size it should be. He's also a nationally collected artist and deeply committed to inspiring communication and thought through his global project, Mural of the World.


Teri Barnett, co-owner
Teri is the detail person at Broad Ripple Art & Design. She likes puzzles, so she really enjoys taking the big picture and breaking it down into parts and pieces. This feeds her space planning and interior design background. And it explains why her artwork consists of smaller bits creating a whole. Teri's also a nationally collected award winning artist and a published author.
